sbackup のパッケージ

Ubuntu World のスクリーンショットが英語のままだったので嫌な予感はしていたのですが、今日インストールしてみたら日本語の mo ファイルがありませんでした orz
apt-get source して changelog を見てみると、0.10.4 がパッケージになったのは去年の五月。それ以降の変更が反映されていないようです。上流から新しいソースが降りてこないとパッケージ作り直して貰えないのかな。Launchpad で翻訳したものが取り込まれてない模様。というか翻訳したからソースに取り込んでくれと sbackup-devel ML に投げたんだけどなぁ。
仕方がないので Launchpad から翻訳した po ファイルを落としてきて po ディレクトリに追加。debuild しなおしました。PPA にアップロードしたのですが、ja.mo がインストールされません。どうやら po ファイルを配置しただけでは不十分で、Makefile の先頭にある PO = の行を

PO = pt_BR lv nl es sv fr ja

に変更しないといけなかったようです。
アップロードしてしまったソースパッケージの削除依頼を出し、リポジトリから消えたことを確認して再アップしたのですが

Rejected:
The source sbackup - 0.10.4ubuntu1 is already accepted in ubuntu/hardy and you cannot upload the same version within the same distribution. You have to modify the source version and re-upload.

と拒否されてしまいました。Help を見てみれば

Because of these conditions, the easiest alternative to replace a broken source is always to upload a package with a higher version number and let the system automatically supersede and remove the older version. You should not rely on deletion requests to re-upload the same source version with different contents.

バージョン上げて上書きしろと仰っております。なんだかゴミが残るみたいで嫌なんですが、それしか方法がないんでしょうか。明日になれば上手いこと古い情報が消えて再アップできたりしないでしょうか……。
